Lab member presents research at the first Small Modular Reactor (SMR) Conference at IAEA in Vienna

Flexibility limits in Small Modular Reactors for enhanced load-following

Power Lab member Shiny Choudhury presented her research at the 2024 Small Modular Reactor (SMR) Conference organized by International Atomic Energy Association (IAEA) on October 21-25 at Vienna, Austria. This was the first SMR Conference of this scale, signaling growing momentum on advanced nuclear technologies. Shiny presented her work on ‘Flexibility limits in Small Modular Reactors for enhanced load-following’ in the track ‘Engineering, Codes & Standards, Supply Chain, Operation and Maintenance of SMRs’ co-chaired by Pekka Tapani and Alina Constantin from the IAEA.
