Best presentation award for China's RE scale-up study

From June 16-18, 2024, lab members Shiny Choudhury, Tyson Dao, Kaarthi Gnapathy, and Zhenhua Zhang presented their research at the Technology, Data, and Policy (TDP) Conference held at MIT. This event, organized by MIT’s Institute for Data, Systems, and Society, provides a platform for graduate students involved in technology and policy research to share their work and receive feedback from faculty and peers.

Shiny presented her research titled “Harnessing Flexibility of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs): A Physics Informed Approach”, Tyson discussed “Vietnam’s Power Sector Decarbonization Pathway Through The Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP)”, and Kaarthi shared his work on “Optimizing Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) Indonesia: A Study on Captive Generation”. Zhenhua presented his work on “Temporal Limitations of China’s Renewable Energy Scale-Up”, earning the Best Presentation Award. Congratulations Zhenhua!
